Follow the clues in this exciting race around Verona. Hometown Quest sends you on an adventure through Hometown USA in an effort to discover the eight clues that lead to exciting prizes. Pick up your starting packet at the Hometown Quest booth on Saturday afternoon.

USA Festival not only offers four days of entertainment but also gives local organizations an opportunity to raise funds. You’ll see fireworks on Thursday night and find live music in the beer tent, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Your entry will be acknowledged as it passes the announcers stand. Please write a brief statement to represent your entry, organization or business to be read by the announcers. The parade committee reserves the right to edit the statement for length, clarity, and appropriateness.



General Rules:

  • Political candidates must be present in person and must walk the parade route.
  • Entries with LARGE ANIMALS MUST have a cleanup crew.
  • For insurance and safety reasons, no water spraying or throwing, no sirens or piercing horns, and no candy throwing (candy or other items may be handed out to individuals).
  • South Nine Mound Road must be used as the staging area. No staging is allowed on Paoli Street.

Your lineup numbers and information will be assigned and mailed by May 23th to the contact shown above. All late entries received after May 23 will be automatically assigned to the end of the parade lineup.

If you choose to sponsor a special attraction parade entry and need a sponsorship sign, please email the Verona Betterment at veronabetterment@aol.com by May 9.
